A Modest Beginning

Shortly ago, my Etsy store opened its doors, with the very beginnings of my creations listed for sale. The page is located here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/StarGladeCrafts?ref=si_shop

I've been dabbling in clay for a number of years now, making various fan-related miniatures. From food, to gaming, to movies, and now onto my own personal designs. All of these creations that I loved making in miniature form inspired my desire to create a miniature display of Bad End, a project of overwhelming size that is currently on hiatus while I'm working on getting a successful store. Over the years I gave out my miniatures as gifts to my family and friends, and everyone always seemed to greatly enjoy what I made. I've always loved making them, and wanted to start selling them.

This gives birth to my Etsy store. Still very small, and still very few sales. I'm constantly working on new designs that are easy to recreate to sell on demand, to be posted to my store. Currently, for instance, I'm working on some more Star Wars themed items, similar to my Boba Fett and Jango Fett earrings. Instead of being earrings, however, they're larger necklace pendants.

I'm also delving into creating displays within small rounded domes. I'm in the process of creating Pokemon themed domes for this, and also have an incredibly tiny Toothless, from How to Train your Dragon that I plan to put into a dome and have him up for sale. (I will likely not be creating more than this one Toothless display, as it took far too long to create at just a couple centimeters large.

More Pokemon earrings are planned, as well as the Poke-"eggs". I also aim to branch out more, into more Zelda themed items, Metroid, Game of Thrones banners, and much much more.

Most importantly I should mention that this blog's intention is to follow the creations that I make to sell on etsy. It will also be the home for my "catalog" I intend to write displaying all the things I currently have listed on etsy, and some others that are available for request, but may not be listed in my store.

I also have other blogs that I will be updating when relevant:
"An Art Endeavor", the Bag End project, which was mentioned earlier in this post.
"Writing as I Fancy", which is currently inactive and just a placeholder but once I continue my writing again will get more attention.
"Behind Art and Endeavor", for anything that doesn't fall under my other blog topics--and will most likely primarily consist of personal posts and unrelated art content.
